While that setup worked well, it limited our ability to build a smoother ordering process and introduce application-specific features.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To solve this, we created a dedicated AI Apps product group. OpenClaw hosting now has its own product flow, onboarding process, automated setup, and direct dashboard access.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The service still runs on HostArmada infrastructure, and customers do not need to handle the initial server or application installation themselves. A Faster OpenClaw Ordering Process<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OpenClaw hosting no longer follows the traditional web hosting order flow.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because OpenClaw does not require customers to register or connect a domain name during checkout, clicking the <\/span><b>Get Started<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button takes you directly to the product configuration page.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HostArmada automatically assigns a hostname to the service. This removes an unnecessary step and helps customers complete their orders more quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can select the appropriate plan, configure the available options, complete the checkout process, and move directly to onboarding after payment.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-3-a-product-specific-onboarding-flow\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_A_Product-Specific_Onboarding_Flow\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. A Product-Specific Onboarding Flow<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the order is paid, the onboarding process begins.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The onboarding screen collects the information required to configure the application. Although the process may look similar to the previous setup, the new system allows us to create onboarding flows based on the application being installed.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This means our customers only see the fields and steps that are relevant to their specific hosting plan. Clear Setup Progress and Status Updates<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After onboarding is completed, HostArmada begins creating the server.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The service status will initially appear as <\/span><b>Creating<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> while the physical server is being provisioned on our infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the server is ready, the system automatically starts installing OpenClaw. For OpenClaw services, the customer is logged in automatically, so there is no need to locate separate login credentials or manually enter the server address.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dashboard behavior may differ for other applications. Some services may require an additional application-specific setup step after the server installation is complete.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-6-full-server-management-controls\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Full_Server_Management_Controls\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6. Full Server Management Controls<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new OpenClaw hosting service keeps the server management features available with our unmanaged hosting products.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customers can still perform common server actions, including:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting the server<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stopping the server<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Restarting the server<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reviewing the current service status<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reinstalling the service<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These controls remain available through the HostArmada customer area.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-7-improved-reinstallation\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Improved_Reinstallation\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7. Improved Reinstallation<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reinstall option has also been improved for OpenClaw hosting.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reinstalling the service does more than recreate the server. The system also uses the information previously submitted during onboarding to install OpenClaw again with the same configuration details.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customers do not need to repeat the onboarding process after each reinstall.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Please keep in mind that reinstalling a server removes the existing data stored on that server.
