HostArmada Affiliate Program: Earn Up to $250 Per Sale

16 minutes reading

A strong hosting affiliate program should offer more than an attractive commission.

For publishers, bloggers, YouTubers, agencies, developers, and comparison websites, the real opportunity comes from promoting a hosting provider that combines competitive payouts with services their audience can genuinely use.

That’s exactly what we want to offer through the HostArmada Affiliate Program.

In July 2026, we increased our affiliate commissions as part of our continued investment in the program and the partners who help introduce new customers to HostArmada.

Affiliates can now earn up to $250 per qualifying sale, with higher commission tiers available to partners who generate more sales.

Just as importantly, our higher commission tiers are retroactive within the same calendar month. If you move into a higher tier, qualifying sales you already generated earlier that month are upgraded to the new commission rate as well.

For websites and creators already publishing content about web hosting, WordPress, website development, ecommerce, or building an online business, this gives the HostArmada Affiliate Program stronger earning potential as referral volume grows.

We Have Increased Our Affiliate Commissions

Our latest commission increase is designed to reward affiliates who consistently introduce new customers to HostArmada.

Rather than relying on a single flat commission across every product and performance level, our affiliate program uses a tiered structure.

As the number of qualifying sales you generate increases, your commission per sale can increase as well.

Our current commission structure is:

Sales per monthWebsite Hosting MonthlyWebsite HostingReseller HostingCloud ServersUnmanaged VPS
1-10$30$80$100$100$90
11-20$70$110$150$150$125
20+$100$200$200$250$225

That means affiliates promoting our Website Hosting plans can earn as much as $200 per qualifying sale, while qualifying Cloud Server referrals can earn commissions of up to $250 per sale.

But there’s another important part of our commission model that can significantly increase affiliate earnings.

Higher HostArmada Commission Tiers Are Retroactive

When you reach a higher commission tier during a calendar month, we do not apply the higher rate only to the sales that come afterward.

All qualifying sales already generated during that month are upgraded to the higher commission rate.

Here’s a simple example:

Suppose you refer 11 customers in one month and all 11 purchase qualifying Website Hosting plans.

At the first tier, Website Hosting pays $80 per qualifying sale.

When your 11th qualifying sale moves you into the next tier, the commission rate becomes $110 per sale.

A non-retroactive structure would look like this:

  • First 10 sales × $80 = $800
  • 11th sale × $110 = $110
  • Total commission = $910

That’s not how HostArmada calculates it.

Once you reach the higher tier, all 11 qualifying sales for that month are calculated at $110:

11 sales × $110 = $1,210

That’s $300 more from the same 11 qualifying referrals.

And the principle continues as affiliates reach higher tiers.

Our affiliate terms explicitly state that qualifying sales generated at one tier are upgradable to the next tier, meaning previous qualifying sales from that calendar month are paid according to the higher commission rate once the affiliate reaches it.

For partners capable of generating consistent volume, this can make a meaningful difference to monthly affiliate revenue.

It also means that every additional sale that moves you into a new tier has the potential to increase the value of sales you have already generated during that month.

How Competitive Is the HostArmada Affiliate Program?

Web hosting has long been an attractive affiliate niche because hosting customers have significant value to providers.

As a result, many hosting companies offer substantial commissions for successful referrals.

However, comparing web hosting affiliate programs is not always straightforward.

Some companies offer a fixed payment per sale. Others use a percentage of the customer’s purchase. Some increase commissions according to volume, while the qualifying products, cookie periods, payout rules, and commission caps also vary.

That’s why the most useful comparison is not simply “which company advertises the biggest number?”

It’s how the overall earning structure works for the type of customers and traffic an affiliate actually sends.

HostArmada vs. Other Hosting Affiliate Programs

Based on publicly available affiliate information, here’s how HostArmada compares with several hosting companies that serve similar consumer and small-business audiences:

Hosting CompanyCommission Structure (Publicly Advertised)
HostArmada$30 to $250 per qualifying sale depending on product and monthly sales volume, with qualifying sales upgraded retroactively when a higher tier is reached
Hosting.com50% of the customer’s first invoice for most hosting products, capped at $400 per sale; 20% for reseller hosting, Windows hosting, and domains
SiteGround$50 per sale at 1-5 monthly sales, $75 at 6-10, up to $100 at 11-20, with custom commissions available for 21+
HostPapaTiered commissions on qualified hosting sales, advertised at up to $150 per sale
BluehostOne-time commission for qualifying hosting referrals; Bluehost also publicly advertises $65 per referral on its programs page

The structures are not directly interchangeable, which is worth keeping in mind.

Hosting.com, for example, currently advertises a commission equal to 50% of the customer’s first hosting invoice, capped at $400 for most hosting products. Unlike HostArmada, its public program page says there are no volume tiers required to unlock that rate.

SiteGround uses a sales-volume model that’s more directly comparable with ours. Its current U.S. affiliate page advertises $50 per sale for 1-5 monthly sales, $75 at 6-10, up to $100 at 11-20, followed by custom commissions for affiliates generating 21 or more sales.

HostPapa also uses a tiered model and currently advertises commissions of up to $150 per qualified web hosting sale.

Bluehost’s public information describes its affiliate commission as a one-time payment for qualified customers purchasing eligible hosting plans, while another Bluehost program page currently advertises a $65 commission per referral. Because Bluehost’s exact partner terms can depend on the affiliate agreement in Impact, prospective affiliates should check their applicable terms directly.

Against that landscape, HostArmada’s current commission structure gives partners a competitive fixed-per-sale earning opportunity, particularly once they reach our higher tiers.

The retroactive tier upgrade makes that comparison even more important.

For example, an affiliate reaching 11 qualifying Website Hosting sales with HostArmada would earn $1,210 based on the current $110 tier because all 11 sales are recalculated at the higher rate.

So while another program may advertise a particular headline commission, affiliates should look at how the entire payout structure works at their expected monthly volume.

We do not need to claim that HostArmada pays more than every hosting company in every possible scenario.

What we can say is that our current commissions are highly competitive within the broader web hosting affiliate market, with a tier structure that increasingly rewards affiliates as they scale.

And commission is only part of the equation.

A High Commission Is Only Valuable If the Product Is Worth Recommending

Affiliate marketing is built on trust.

If you publish hosting reviews, WordPress tutorials, development guides, or website-building content, your audience is relying on your recommendations when making an important decision.

Hosting affects website performance, uptime, security, email, development workflows, and potentially the operation of an entire online business.

That’s why we believe an affiliate partnership has to make sense beyond the payout.

We want HostArmada affiliates to have both a competitive earning opportunity and hosting services they can confidently put in front of their audience.

Multiple Hosting Services Give You More Ways to Promote HostArmada

Different audiences need different types of hosting.

A first-time website owner may be looking for an accessible hosting plan.

A WordPress user may care about managed features, speed, backups, and support.

An agency may need more scalable hosting resources.

A developer may be researching VPS or cloud server options.

HostArmada gives affiliates multiple hosting categories to work with, including:

This gives our partners more flexibility when deciding where HostArmada fits naturally into their content.

Instead of trying to promote the same product to every visitor, affiliates can introduce the HostArmada service that’s most relevant to the reader’s needs.

That can be particularly valuable for publishers with content covering several stages of the website-building journey.

A beginner WordPress tutorial, a hosting comparison, an ecommerce guide, and a VPS article may all attract very different audiences, but each can create a relevant opportunity to recommend HostArmada.

Competitive Hosting Offers Can Help Convert Affiliate Traffic

A generous affiliate commission only works when referred visitors are willing to become customers.

That’s why the customer-facing offer matters just as much as the affiliate-facing payout.

HostArmada provides competitive introductory hosting offers across several of our services, giving prospective customers a clear reason to evaluate us alongside other hosting providers.

For affiliates, that means the recommendation is supported by an offer designed to appeal to people who are already considering purchasing or switching hosting.

The strongest affiliate content usually aligns with existing buying intent.

A visitor reading a hosting comparison, WordPress setup guide, website migration tutorial, or “how to build a website” article is often already close to making a hosting decision.

Our goal is to give affiliates a competitive product and offer to place in front of that audience.

Hosting decisions are not always immediate.

A visitor may read your article today, compare several providers, discuss the decision with a colleague, and return later to make a purchase.

The HostArmada Affiliate Program uses a 90-day tracking cookie, giving eligible referrals a relatively long conversion window.

That can be particularly useful for affiliates publishing:

  • Detailed hosting reviews
  • Comparison articles
  • Buying guides
  • WordPress tutorials
  • Website migration content
  • Technical hosting content

These types of visitors often research before buying.

A longer attribution period gives those users more time to evaluate their options while preserving the connection between the original referral and a later qualifying purchase, subject to our affiliate program terms.

Track Your Affiliate Performance

Affiliate marketing becomes much easier to improve when you know what is working.

Through the HostArmada affiliate dashboard, partners can monitor important performance data, including affiliate link clicks and generated sales.

That can help you understand which pieces of content are bringing qualified visitors to HostArmada.

For example, you may discover that a WordPress tutorial converts better than a general hosting review, or that a particular comparison article produces more clicks than other placements.

Those insights can help you decide where to update links, which topics deserve additional coverage, and where HostArmada performs best with your audience.

Work With a Dedicated Affiliate Manager

Our affiliate program is not designed to be a completely anonymous relationship.

HostArmada affiliates can work with a dedicated affiliate manager who can assist with questions related to the program, commissions, promotional opportunities, and the partnership itself.

For a publisher testing HostArmada for the first time, this provides a clear point of contact.

For larger partners, agencies, and established affiliate websites, it becomes even more valuable as the relationship grows.

Successful affiliate partnerships often develop beyond simply placing a tracking link on a page.

Having direct communication between the publisher and hosting provider makes it easier to build that relationship.

Promotional Resources to Support Your Content

HostArmada affiliates can also access promotional resources designed to make it easier to introduce our services to their audience.

Available affiliate resources include promotional links, banners, and other materials that can be used across suitable content and campaigns.

Affiliates can direct visitors toward relevant HostArmada pages rather than relying on a generic destination for every referral.

The goal is simple: reduce the amount of setup required on the affiliate side and give partners the tools they need to focus on creating useful content and attracting qualified traffic.

Reputation Matters When You Recommend a Hosting Company

A hosting recommendation reflects on the publisher making it.

That matters to us.

HostArmada has built an established customer base and a strong public reputation, including a 4.8 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot from more than 1,100 reviews at the time of writing.

Independent reviews should always be considered alongside a publisher’s own testing and evaluation, but they provide another useful signal when researching a potential hosting partner.

For affiliates, the decision should not simply be:

“How much will this company pay me?”

It should also be:

“Is this a company I am comfortable recommending to my readers, viewers, or clients?”

We believe both questions matter.

Who Is a Good Fit for the HostArmada Affiliate Program?

You do not need to be an existing HostArmada hosting customer to join our affiliate program.

What matters more is whether your audience has a genuine interest in websites, hosting, WordPress, development, ecommerce, or running an online business.

1. Hosting Comparison and Review Websites

If your website already compares hosting providers, HostArmada gives you another established option to evaluate and introduce to readers.

Our range of hosting services also allows comparison sites to cover several customer segments rather than only entry-level hosting.

2. WordPress Websites and Blogs

WordPress content naturally overlaps with web hosting.

Installation guides, performance optimization tutorials, migration articles, WooCommerce content, and WordPress troubleshooting resources can all create relevant opportunities to recommend hosting.

3. Web Development Publications

Developers frequently work with hosting environments and often influence where projects are deployed.

Content covering development, servers, website performance, migrations, and infrastructure can therefore be a strong fit for HostArmada.

4. YouTubers and Content Creators

Video content about WordPress, building websites, launching online stores, web development, or starting online businesses frequently includes hosting decisions.

If your viewers regularly ask which hosting service to use, HostArmada can become one of the options you evaluate and recommend.

5. Digital Marketing and SEO Websites

Digital marketing audiences often operate their own websites or manage websites for clients.

SEO tutorials, content marketing guides, agency resources, and online business content can therefore generate highly relevant hosting traffic.

6. Agencies and Freelancers

Designers, developers, marketers, and consultants frequently help clients choose hosting providers.

Where affiliate participation is appropriate for your client relationship, referring suitable customers to a hosting provider can create an additional revenue stream alongside your existing services.

7. SaaS and Technology Publications

Technology audiences often overlap with entrepreneurs, developers, startups, and businesses that require hosting infrastructure.

HostArmada can fit naturally into content covering website technology, WordPress, ecommerce, development, and online tools.

8. Website-Building Tutorials

Content such as:

  • how to build a WordPress website
  • how to start a blog
  • how to create an online store
  • how to launch a business website
  • how to migrate a website
  • how to choose a hosting provider

– already attract readers who are actively approaching a hosting decision.

That makes these tutorials particularly relevant for hosting affiliate partnerships.

9. Entrepreneurship and Small-Business Websites

Many entrepreneurs eventually need a website.

Audiences learning how to start a business, sell online, build a brand, or launch a digital project often need hosting as part of that process.

If your content already helps readers get businesses online, HostArmada can become part of that journey.

Why Our New Commission Structure Matters for Growing Affiliates

The biggest advantage of our tiered model becomes clearer as affiliate performance grows.

Take Website Hosting as an example.

The current commission begins at $80 per qualifying sale and can increase to $110 before reaching $200 per qualifying sale at the highest published volume tier.

Cloud Server commissions can increase from $100 to $150 and ultimately up to $250 per qualifying sale.

The retroactive structure amplifies that growth.

Crossing a tier does not simply increase the value of your next referral. It can increase the commission attached to every qualifying referral you have already generated during that calendar month.

That means growing your HostArmada referrals can improve affiliate revenue in several ways:

  • You earn commissions from a larger number of sales.
  • Your commission per qualifying sale increases as you reach higher tiers.
  • Earlier qualifying sales from the same month are upgraded to the higher tier once it is achieved.

For publishers who already attract hosting-related traffic, this creates an opportunity to turn existing content into a stronger revenue source without changing the subject matter their audience already expects from them.

Should You Add HostArmada to Your Hosting Recommendations?

If your audience already asks about web hosting, WordPress hosting, website creation, development, or online business tools, we believe HostArmada is worth evaluating as an affiliate partner.

Our increased affiliate commissions are a major part of that proposition.

But they are not the entire proposition.

We combine:

  • Commissions of up to $250 per qualifying sale
  • Performance-based commission tiers
  • Retroactive commission upgrades within each monthly affiliate cycle
  • A 90-day tracking cookie
  • Multiple hosting products to promote
  • Competitive customer-facing offers
  • Affiliate tracking and reporting
  • Promotional resources
  • Dedicated affiliate support
  • Hosting options suitable for several different customer segments

That gives partners more than a commission link.

It gives them a hosting company they can evaluate across multiple types of content and potentially build into a longer-term affiliate strategy.
