How to export content from your Ghost blogging platform

Introduction

Exporting your content is an excellent option to have, especially when dealing with blogging applications. In Ghost, the export process accumulates a JSON file of all your blog’s pages and posts. When generated, the file can be imported into a different Ghost instance or a completely different application. Most blogging platforms fully support the JSON file format; therefore, you will be able to transfer your content with ease. In this tutorial, we are going to explore the export option in Ghost and guide you on how to use it. Whenever you are - Let’s jump right into it!

Accessing the Export functionality

To access the export functionality, please log into your Ghost’s admin dashboard. To do so, please open your favorite browser and enter your domain name followed by "/ghost". For example:

  • ghost.hostarmadatutorials.com/ghost

Login page

Once logged in, please access the “Labs” tab from the left sidebar.
